One of the University’s several West Midlands campuses, Telford Innovation Campus provides an environment in which students and businesses can explore possibilities at the forefront of technology.
The Campus features the e-Innovation Centre, an on-site home for new start-ups, and Business and Technology Centre, a creative working environment for growing technology-based businesses. Telford Business Solutions Centre is based at the Campus and co-located with The Marches Growth Hub, Telford & Wrekin.
Business Solutions Centres (BSCs), brought to you by the University, provide a collaborative and innovative approach to improving business performance and are designed to make a positive economic impact on the Shropshire region and beyond.

The University, in partnership with Telford College of Arts and Technology and Telford and Wrekin Council, launched University Centre Telford in 2015. Situated in Southwater One, it puts education in the heart of Telford by widening access to higher education and providing opportunities for personal and professional development, as well as business services.
Meanwhile, new Telford Conference Centre accommodation received a five-star quality campus rating from VisitEngland for its double executive en-suite bedrooms.
Additional recent highlights
Highest level of graduate employability according to the Destination of Leavers of Higher Education survey – 96%, placing the University 2nd in the UK*.
- A commendation, the highest possible accolade, in the most recent Quality Assurance Agency assessment.
- All 14 University Research Centres submitted to the Research Excellence Framework 2014 had elements rated as world-leading.
The launch of the Apprenticeship Hub, working with employers to develop higher level professional and technical skills in demand by local businesses.
