University Centre Shrewsbury is the region’s newest establishment and was created by The University of Chester and Shropshire Council to increase higher education prospects in the area.
Offering modern facilities in the heart of the medieval town, it has a growing choice of undergraduate and postgraduate options spanning four learning and research areas: medicine and health; sustainable business and community development; societal innovation, and design, heritage and the built environment.
Undergraduate courses include Business Management and postgraduate courses include the Master of Business Administration. It also has unique opportunities for research and Continuing Professional Development.
The curriculum has been developed in collaboration with local businesses, and industry specialists are among those teaching students.
Undergraduates can take part in the S:PEAR (Professional, Entrepreneurial, Academic and Research Skills) programme that brings students together across all courses to give them the skills they need for the workplace and work on projects which benefit the community.
It can fill in skills gaps that you may have and encourage and commit employees to your business.
