The University of Wolverhampton

The University of Wolverhampton prides itself on being a place of opportunity for students, staff and the communities and businesses it engages with.

One of the University’s several West Midlands campuses, Telford Innovation Campus provides an environment in which students and businesses can explore possibilities at the forefront of technology.

The Campus features the e-Innovation Centre, an on-site home for new start-ups, and Business and Technology Centre, a creative working environment for growing technology-based businesses. Telford Business Solutions Centre is based at the Campus and co-located with The Marches Growth Hub, Telford & Wrekin.

Through its five-year Our Vision, Your Opportunity programme, the University is on its way to generating over £250 million by 2020, its biggest ever investment driving economic growth to benefit students and the wider region. In response to the expected shortfall in qualified engineers in the UK, over £10 million has been invested in advanced facilities and courses at Telford Innovation Campus, strengthening the region’s engineering infrastructure.

The University, in partnership with Telford College of Arts and Technology and Telford and Wrekin Council, launched University Centre Telford in 2015. Situated in Southwater One, it puts education in the heart of Telford by widening access to higher education and providing opportunities for personal and professional development, as well as business services.

Meanwhile, new Telford Conference Centre accommodation received a five-star quality campus rating from VisitEngland for its double executive en-suite bedrooms.
